Breakfast
Our richly varied breakfast buffet, with a muesli corner and juice bar, is perfect for an especially successful start to the day. The Traube team endeavours to satisfy your innermost wishes and even serves the breakfast in summer on the adjacent balcony with an enchanting view over Lienz’s main square. On request, we are happy to serve long sleepers in their rooms to 10am. Moreover, we indulge you with such typical coffee specialities as Italian espresso, cappuccino and latte macchiato from the “Caffè Hausbrandt” roasting house in Trieste.
Dinner
Up the spiral staircase, following the aromas of freshly prepared dishes, you arrive on the first floor where the service team leads you to your table. Our chef presents you with typical rural dishes, such as roast pork, vegetables in aspic, “Schlipfkrapfen” (large tortellini) as well as refined delicacies from lake and sea, and lamb and duck. It is also a great pleasure for us to advise you in your choice of appropriate wines. It is not without reason that we are known as the “Wine Merchant’s Hotel” because our “wine Bible“, with over 170 entries, is alone from the range of our own winery. Refined wines from Austria, Italy, and above all from Bordeaux and Burgundy, as well as from Spain, Portugal and overseas complete the offer.

How about an aperitif or digestive at the hotel bar? Here too we are happy to indulge you again with refined distillations and spirits from the Vergeiner winery – whether select sherry or port, cognac or whisky – the choice leaves nothing to be desired.
