Cross-Country Skiing in Lienz

Over 100 km of cross-country ski trails are available to skaters and classic skiers in the Lienz Valley basin and the neighbouring valleys. Enjoy the enchanting winter landscape of the Lienz Dolomites when comfortably cross-country skiing, or meet the sporting challenge in the traditional Dolomite Run.

The network of cross-country ski trails in the Lienz Dolomites begins on the southern fringe of the city with the Amlacher Circuit and continues on a somewhat flat route of about 30 km towards the Puster Valley, and about 35 km towards the Drau Valley. One should be a somewhat more advanced skier to undertake the two-kilometre Lavant Circuit, which is artificially snowed and illuminated.
