Motorcycle Tours through the Dolomites
Motorcycle rides through the Dolomites
Hotel Traube awaits you in the middle of the historical district of Lienz, at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites, surrounded by magical mountain roads such as those on the Grossglockner, the Pustertal High Alpine Road, and others in nearby South Tyrol.
Short Dolomite Tour (ca. 125km)
At Arnbach, we leave Austrian territory and arrive in Innichen. Here, we turn left and come to Sexten at the foot of the Sexten Dolomites. Via the Kreuzberg pass (1636m) we now reach the Veneto region. Via St. Stefano -> Auronzo ->Misurinasee -> Toblach back to Sillian.
A short journey to the south
Kufstein, Kitzbühel... of course, we know those places - but Eastern Tyrol? Luckily, there are still insider's tips and hidden spots that only the curious stumble upon. The way there is called the Felbertauernstrasse.
Pustertal High Alpine Road (ca. 70 km)
The Pustertal High Alpine Road is one of the most beautiful panoramic roads in Pustertal and leads from Abfaltersbach (982m) via the towns of Asch, Anras, Ried, St. Justina, Burg, Vergein, Kosten, Assling, and Bannberg to the Lienzner Klause, then back into Pustertal to Leisach or Lienz. At the highest point, you will reach an elevation of 1800 m. This geological "sun terrace" treats you to marvelous landscapes, just a few farm buildings, authentic customs, and many cultural sites. In Bannberg, you have the opportunity to take a toll road to the Hochstein area above the town of Lienz. The ride back is on the B 100.
Around the Grossglockner
The Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain with an elevation of 3797m, is the focus of this tour, with unique experiences guaranteed.
Around the Defregger mountains
This scenically diverse tour crosses the border between Austria and Italy twice; please note, traffic is allowed to cross the Staller Saddle only in one direction at a time.
Around the Lienz Dolomites
Other than access to the Lienz Dolomitenhütte to the north and the 3 km side road to the south that leads from St. Lorenzen in Lesach valley to Tuffbad, most of the amazing landscapes of the Lienz Dolomites, culminating in the Seekofel, have not been made accessible by road even to this day
