In bicycle along the "Drauradweg"
The "Drauradweg" (Drau cycle path) with its 366 km stretching along the riverside ranks among the most scenic in Europe. From Lienz you start with the train which is bringing you and your bike to San Candido (Alto Adige) from where you start your journey back to Lienzalong the river "Drau".
Whole the "Drauradweg" takes you from Toblach via Lienz and Spittal to Villach, further along the lakes of Carinthie to Maribor.
I want to ride my bicycle
Use the combination "train & bike": transfer from Lienz to Innichen and return journey at the cycle way! The region Lienzer Dolomiten makes possible to bike cosily also in the mountains!
