The winery of the same name belongs to our Vergeiner’s Romantikhotel Traube. The skills of the traditional enterprise are today in the hands of Mag. Andrä Vergeiner. His great-grandfather had already traded in wine. The family enterprise today counts among the oldest wine-trade houses in Austria.
The refined wines are personally selected following exhaustive tasting by Mag. Andrä Vergeiner. Together with a demand for quality, decisive for being added to the wine list is above all personal contact to the vintners.
The quality wines currently come from Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, the USA, Chile, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The selection includes sparkling wines from Austria and Italy, Champagne, fine Austrian spirits, Italian grappa, old Cognacs and Armagnacs, Calvados and single malt Scotch whisky.
