Leisure bikers

For leisure bikers and families, the Drau bike path and the path along the Isel are perfect. With a length of 366 km, it stretches from Italy through Eastern Tyrol and Carinthia to Slovenia. Take advantage of an offer from Austrian Railways and travel by train (with your bike) to Innichen / San Candido. From there, you can bike back along the Drau bike path. Along the route, you'll find many destinations and restaurants: The historic "Aigner Badl," the Vitalpinum, the Galitzenklamm, and the Roman town Aguntum are directly on the Drau bike path. You can also cool off at one of the many outdoor pools or in the bathing areas along the Drau.

On the Isel cycle path, you can bike about 29 kilometers to Matrei in East Tyrol. The path has a gentle incline of about 1%, making it perfect for families.

Mountainbike Paradies Osttirol

No matter how long you stay at Vergeiner's Hotel Traube, you will have access to countless kilometers of certified mountain bike routes of varying difficulty levels every day. These routes are well-marked and provide stunning mountain backdrops for your mountain biking experience.

Especially popular among well-trained mountain bikers are the routes in East Tyrol's side valleys. These are strenuous but particularly attractive. Selected tours in the Villgratental, Debanttal, and Timmeltal are especially favored.
